Annual Christmas Treat

every christmas, every family, every one.

The Pocket Rocket Foundation Annual Christmas Treat was designed to ensure that no child and no family felt left out during the holidays. Many families are struggling to provide an everyday meal, let alone a holiday meal and gifts under the tree for Christmas. We have previously held community carnival-style events to gather students and their families to enjoy rides, food vendors, entertainment, and more. Upon departure, each family gets to go home with a holiday meal gift basket courtesy of Grace Kennedy.

Our 2022 event revisited its traditional form with rides, food vendors, carnival games, and more. From dance-offs to trivia and a few giveaways, families in Ewarton and Waterhouse had a blast celebrating the Christmas holiday surrounded by community and good vibes. Children decorated in face paint and laughter went home with bags of toys courtesy of our local partners and sponsors. Join us next year for fun on the island and the joy of giving.
